1978 JMO opened their United States division in Fullerton, California
as a total service facility for import automobiles, and technical service
facility for Nissan Racing.
They also received an appointment from Toyota Racing Development
as their technical service facility.

1995 JMO developed their own performance torque converter line,
and now have more than 500 kinds of performance torque converters
for use in gas, diesel, propane and electric vehicles for land and marine
use.

2002 JMO signed the contract with Toyota Racing Development in
Japan to develop JMO Performance Torque Converter to work with TRD
project and the projects are keep on going.
